Thank you for your interest in Wild Blue Adventure Company and the Aviator’s Lounge for your event and lodging venue! As a family owned and operated venue, we strive to make sure that every couple or family group has an excellent experience from start to finish!

At Wild Blue Adventure Company, our hangar is almost 2000 sq ft with 30 ft tall ceilings, a custom-design with authentic, vintage décor. The Aviator’s Lounge has plenty of space for the groom’s entourage and bridal party. It features a spacious, well-appointed loft style home. Entertain guests from out of town around the saltwater pool or 10-person hot tub, and patio while you get ready! Our property is perfect for pictures of all events. It includes exposed brick walls, hardwood floors, lots of nostalgia with the original hangar and runway, and more! With the coordination of our owners, we offer access to our exclusive runway so you can get all of the pictures your heart desires. Currently, we are only hosting small gatherings of less than 120 people. Our hangar is ADA accessible.

Our hangar is located conveniently off of Route 19 in Fayetteville. Just 20 minutes from Beckley or Summersville or less than 1 hour from Charleston, we are located in the heart of the New River Gorge National Park. There are several hotels and restaurants within 5 miles of our venue for your traveling guests, (as well as our on-site lodging with The Aviator’s Lounge.) A local shuttle service is available for you to contract if interested. We can provide you the contact information to coordinate and secure for your event day if interested.

Our wedding package is designed to offer you the opportunity to prepare for your wedding day and eliminate extra stressors. This exclusive venue is available to you all-access without hidden costs. In addition to the features listed above, the rental fee also includes the following:

  • 3 nights lodging at The Aviator’s Lounge, which comfortably holds up to 10 people. (More people may be granted permission to stay upon request. No pets permitted.)
  • Table and chairs for up to 120 people
  • Trash removal
  • Full use of our décor collection at no additional cost, including our 1943 Boeing Stearman, (availabilityfor pictures only.)
  • NOTE: We allow you to choose your own catering and vendors at your own expense, so that you can have everything you need to enjoy your special day. We have a list of vendors we can provide of local favorites if desired.
