Weddings and Events

Looking for a venue for a wedding or special event? Wild Blue Adventure Company offers a unique location for any occasion. Set against the back drop of a vintage aircraft hangar, one can imagine you are living in a different era.  The interior of the hangar is straight out of a Hollywood movie set. Guests will have full use of the hangar, tarmac and beautiful grounds surrounding our private airport.

All weddings at the Wild Blue Adventure Company hangar include the following amenities:

• Use of our beautifully restored 1937 Packard. Join the likes of Judy Garland, Bob Hope, Jimmy Stewart and other stars of the Golden Age of Hollywood who drove this iconic automobile; imagine the beautiful bride pulling up in an antique car fit for a princess.   The Packard will be available to transport the bride and any members of the wedding party within the local area.  It will also be available for photographs during the rental period.  The car will be professionally chauffeured by a driver in period correct attire.  This vehicle is also available for hire at events outside of Wild Blue Adventure Company.

• Use of the 1944 Willy’s military jeep and 1943 Dodge troop transport vehicle.  Both are favorites for grooms and groomsmen alike.  Arrive with a bang in either one of these amazing WW2 era military vehicles.

• 1943 Stearman Biplane.  Our award-winning WW2 biplane is sure to be a crowd stopper!  It will be available as an amazing centerpiece for all events and photographs at our venue.  Our Stearman biplane has been featured on the cover of WV Weddings as a stunning backdrop for the award-winning wedding photo of 2012. Flights in the biplane can be purchased at an additional cost.  For more information see our flights and prices page.
